-My name is Victoria Monsalve Ojeda.
-I was born and raised in the state of Durango, in México.
-Spanish is my first language but I have been bilingual all my life.
-My family moved to Bethel, my mother's home, in 1990.
-I graduated from Telstar High School in the class of 1993.
-In 2000 I received my degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX.
-After college I was employed as a child caseworker for the TX Dpt. of Protective and Regulatory Services.
-I received my teaching certification through UMF.
-I began to teach Spanish in 2003 when I was hired by MVHS and the then SAD 43 and have been teaching there since. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!
I am married and have two sons who are 8 and 4. My husband and I speak both English and Spanish to our sons and at home. My husband is from Colombia and Spanish is also his first language. We have a dog; Luna, and a cat; Shadow.
